The consultancy aimed to review the consultancy findings and recommendations and develop an action plan for monitoring and evaluation enhancement of Regional Resilience Initiative.
Objectives
● To present findings and recommendations of the consultancy for discussion
● To explore possible monitoring and evaluation enhancements for 2017
● To provide space to discuss RRI beyond 2017
Results
By the end of the meeting, we identified the:
● Proposed edits needed for the recommendations of the consultancy
● M&E quick wins that are implementable for the final year of RRI
● Initial thinking about RRI beyond 2017
The consultancy also produced a series of 4 case studies to highlight the contribution of IFRC’s Regional Resilience Initiative:
- Case Study: Mainstreaming Gender and Diversity in Disaster Risk Reduction Initiatives
- Case Study: Supporting the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to build community resilience in Member States
- Case Study: Supporting National Societies to Contribute to Disaster Law Development
- Case Study: Regional Resilience Knowledge Hub
