The Communicating with Disaster-Affected Communities (CDAC) global forum on ‘The authenticity challenge to the Participation Revolution’ was held on 22-23 May 2017, back-to-back with the Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) training (taking place 18-21 May).

The CDAC Network is a growing platform of more than 30 humanitarian, media development, social innovation, technology, and telecommunication organisations, dedicated to saving lives and making aid more effective through communication, information exchange and community engagement.

The forum allowed IFRC and National Societies to be present and showcase some of the most innovative approaches.
