The South-East Asia Red Cross Red Crescent societies in South-East Asia meet annually in the Regional Community Safety and Resilience Forum (RCSRF) to enhance regional integration, coordination, communication and cooperation among them, with the facilitation of IFRC South-East Asia Regional Delegation.
The Forum aims to translate the results of the strategic policy and direction, and decisions of the South-East Asia Red Cross Red Crescent leaders into the operational action to promote the establishment of safer and resilient communities, with the facilitation of IFRC Bangkok Country Cluster Support Team in Bangkok.
The Forum is responsible for escorting the Community Safety and Resilience agenda in accordance with IFRC Strategy 2020, IFRC Community Resilience Framework and other relevant agendas including Hyogo Framework for Action and the subsequent Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, and Millennium Development Goals and Sustainable Development Goals.
