Purpose:

These documents aimes to provides experiences from Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) in its efforts to establish Disaster Response Team in accordance to the strategy 2011-2020 as a source of reference for disaster preparedness and response capacity.

Overview:

The SOPs include five documents:

• Disaster Response Teams and Different Levels: Focus on the origin, purpose of establishing Community and Branch Disaster Response Teams
• Compositions, Criteria and Qualifications for Each Level: Addressing the type of people to lead Community and Branch Disaster Response Teams
• Roles and Responsibilities for Each Level: CRC’s National Disaster Response Teams and how they support the Community or Branch Disaster Response Teams
• Command Line and Decision Making Disaster Management Alerts and Reporting Lines: Before being deployed officially: What are the communication lines between communes, branches and HQ
• Administration, Logistics and Finance: CRC’s National Disaster Response Teams (NDRT) and the admin, logistics and financial services involved
