The country snapshots offers an overview of disaster law development in each Southeast Asian country as of June 2015, in preparation for the Regional Disaster Law Forum for Southeast Asia to be held on 10 – 11 June, 2015, in Bangkok, Thailand.

The overview highlights the disaster law development in each country which contains, among others:
- Legal framework for disaster management and response
- Operational disaster management frameworks (SOPs and other non-binding instruments)
- National Disaster Management Agency (or other lead government agency for disaster management or disaster law).
- Other relevant lead agencies
- Main guidelines
- Role of the National Society in country in national disaster management arrangements
