Purpose: These documents are designed to provide National Societies leadership and staff with overall understanding of Disaster management and strategies of some National Societies in the region for reference and experience sharing.

Overview: The Guidelines includes the following sectors: principles and rules for Disaster Management (DM); Disaster Response and Preparedness; DM management framework; logistic services; tools and equipment, emergency assistance, coordination mechanisms; search, Rescue and Evacuation; First aid service, water, hygiene and sanitation, early recovery, psychological support, sheltering, partnership.
