This document emphasizes IFRC’s approach to livelihood and cash transfer programme in its efforts to deliver relief assistance by diversifying its response options, mainstreaming livelihoods and cash into its relief and recovery programmes so that disaster affected communities are able to meet their diverse needs in the most appropriate, timely and dignified way through in-kind and/or cash transfer programming delivered by National Societies and IFRC disaster response capacities.
