This training summary report presents the results of the Training of Trainers on Healthy Ageing (TOT HA) conducted and hosted by Cambodian Red Cross Society during 13-15 June 2017 at Cambodian Red Cross National Head Quarters, Phnom Penh.
This case study discusses Cambodian Red Cross’ works with the authorities in Kratie province which is bordered by the Mekong River, to protect lives and livelihoods in a long-term engagement that has brought many benefits. Improvements in flood early warning, planning and response have resulted from a more holistic approach to disaster management.
This policy (in Khmer and English) establishes the basis for the Cambodian Red Cross to ensure that the gender and diversity differences are taken into account and systematically addressed in relation to core areas as defined in CRC Strategy 2011 – 2020, such as disaster management, health and health care in the community, promotion of the movement’s fundamental principles and humanitarian values, and organizational development and resource development.
