With the collaboration of Thai Red Cross Society Youth Bureau and IFRC Bangkok CCST, the first ever Youth in School Safety Facilitators Training was held in July 25-28 in Vientiane, Lao PDR to support the Lao Red Cross Youth in School Safety programme, under the Building Urban Resilience in Southeast Asia project.

A total of 20 participants attended the training. They had a two-day practice and conducted one-day programme in five schools targeted within Building Urban Resilience in Southeast project.

The main outcome of the programme was the action plans from each school youth and each individual facilitator’s commitment for the expansion of Youth for School Safety programme.
